The return of the spawning salmon to the Fraser Valley also creates the third largest gathering of Bald Eagles in North America. Imagine over 1000 eagles soaring over head , perched in the tree tops and resting on the grave bars. The very best way to view this spectacular occurence is on board on of our Harrison River Eco Tours.The "Safari" boat is fully enlcosed & climate controlled with 5 heaters on board so no one gets wet or cold on days where the weather is less than perfect. Definitely bring your binoculars and camera on this expedition.

1) All Safaris that happen during this season become "eagle expeditions" as the sheer number of raptors make it hard to ignore them. We still cruise the river and search for all wildlife, sharing stories from the past, however the eagles easily become the highlight of the outings. 3) We have booked David Hancock of the Hancock Wildlife Foundation, eagle biologist, lecturer and publicist for 3 entertaining eagle expeditions. Tour dates Nov 27th, Dec 5th and Dec 11th. Tours include guest speaker and a hot lunch at Kilby. Book early these are popular trips.

Load up the kids and get out of the house for one last hurrah this summer. This event is a family favourite as we entertain the kids for you. Nature is a great playground, throw in a passing train, giant sturgeon and whole bunch of river wildlife and it will be a day to remember. And if that wasn’t enough the half way point stop today includes a festival designed just for the kids. The Kilby Kid’s Fest is a full day of entertainment for the kid’s including music, dance and audience participation with children’s performer Rosie Ribbon Star. Face painting, several fun craft stations and sports day activities are bound to get them all tuckered out for a quiet car ride home. Launch time 9:30
October 10th & 11th - Annual Thanksgiving Dinner
This tour is one you want to arrive hungry for. The annual river tour + turkey luncheon has guests enjoying a fabulous Fall river experience with a stop over at Kilby Historic Site. Picture roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, squash, brussel sprouts, a fresh homemade dinner roll, homemade cranberry sauce, gravy and a beverage with your choice of apple crisp or pumpkin pie and whipped cream. Lunch is included in this package tour. Launch time is 11:00am **
Sunday, October 31st - Kilby’s Kids Halloween Party

November 20th & 21st - Annual Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival
