Mystery, Intrigue and Exploration...
From the original peoples that traveled the area years ago to modern day explorers, the spirit of
adventure has driven us to discover the wonders of the world.
The Fraser River is of such great importance to British Columbia because of its incredible natural and cultural values as well as the vital part it plays in modern day industry. Millions of waterfowl migrate through the area each year, many species of wildlife spend their lives near the river and some of the world's greatest salmon runs occur here each Fall. The Fraser is also home to the "living dinosaur" better known as the great white sturgeon. For thousands of years when it was known only as the "river" to the First Nations it was the very heart of the area. The rhythm of the river set the way the People existed along its shores and provided safety, transportation and food. Fraser River Safari’s friendly and professional crew is waiting to take you on soft adventure river tours through the scenic Fraser Valley. Once on board our comfortable Kiwi designed jet boat you will cruise the river, hear stories from days gone by, and search for wildlife such as bear, seals, eagles and of course the elusive Sasquatch. Learn more about its history, snap some great pictures and create a wonderful memory. If you are traveling to, or live here in Beautiful B.C., make sure to take the time to join us on one of our tours this year. Find out for yourself why the river is so important to our crew and vital for the future health of the area. |
